At Cream City Homestead, we offer both In-Home Training and Board & Train options to suit your dog's needs.

In- Home Training with Cream City Homestead
Tailored to You & Your Dogs' Needs
In-Home Training is an excellent way to get personalized, one-on-one support. It allows us to address specific behaviors your dog may be displaying at home while offering more flexibility in terms of when, how, and where the training takes place. This approach provides you with all the tools you need to address behavioral issues or simply enhance your dog’s responsiveness to commands.
1 Hour, 1 1/2 Hour, & Virtual Session

Session
A one-hour training session begins with a brief review of progress since the previous session, followed by a focus on training. The majority of the lesson will be dedicated to hands-on training to work on your dog's skills.
An hour and a half training session is perfect for a first house call, as it allows us to connect, discuss any issues, and determine the best training approach. You'll still have plenty of time for hands-on training before the session ends.
Virtual
Session
Virtual Training is a great way to receive quick tips and tricks for addressing behavioral issues or to cover the "getting to know you" portion of the lesson before I arrive for in-person training.

Train While You Are Away!
Boarding and Training at Cream City Homestead is led by our owner, Shelby Naab. This is our most popular program, designed to help your dog learn while you're away! With our Board and Train option, we'll handle both pick-up and drop-off for your dog, and it includes one follow-up session in your home to ensure continued progress.
2 Weeks, 3 Weeks or Refresher Week
2 Week
Board & Train
A 2-week Board and Train is an excellent choice for both young puppies and older dogs. During the two weeks, your dog will learn the five basic commands, along with socialization and addressing any behavioral challenges. Each day, they'll have a 2-hour training session tailored specifically to their needs. The first week typically focuses on learning the fundamentals, while the second week is dedicated to reinforcing and implementing those behaviors. Since every dog is unique, the structure of the two weeks may vary based on your dog's progress.
3 Week
Board & Train
A 3-week Board and Train is similar to the 2-week program, but it provides additional time to fully address and reinforce behaviors. I recommend the 3-week option for dogs with high anxiety, nervousness, or significant behavioral challenges, as it allows us to work more thoroughly and ensure lasting results.
Refresher
Week
This refresher program is exclusively for repeat clients who have previously completed a 2-week or 3-week Board and Train. The refresher can be customized to any length of time and includes pick-up and drop-off. During the refresher, your dog will receive 2 hours of daily, tailored training, along with additional learning during downtime.
